My name is Shabnam, and I have loved drawing since I was a little girl. When I was 15, I won first place in my high school art festival. Later, I taught art in middle school and also offered private lessons.
I have participated in various international art shows. I am a member of the Art Association in the city of Brea, and I have won first place three times and second place twice in my style of oil painting.
I specialize in realistic and portraiture oil painting. In 2005, I opened my own art classes (Mission Art Center) in the City of Orange, where I teach drawing and painting for adults and children.
I am a professional artist, art educator, and certified life coach, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 2005, I founded Mission Art Center in Orange County, which has since grown into one of the most successful art schools in the area. For over two decades, I have taught drawing and painting to children and adults, and I continue to find deep joy in helping others express themselves through art.
In addition to teaching, I am deeply passionate about creating my art. My work spans photorealism, impressionism, surrealism, and portrait oil painting.
I also offer healing sessions that combine art's expressive power with psychology's insight. These sessions are designed to support individuals navigating emotional pain or life transitions. Drawing from my background in both art and psychology, I create a compassionate and creative space where people can explore their emotions, find clarity, and experience emotional relief through expressive painting and heartfelt conversation. I also incorporate mindfulness and psychology-based techniques to encourage self-discovery, resilience, and personal growth.
Whether I’m teaching, painting, or guiding someone through a healing journey, my mission is to help others reconnect with their creativity, inner peace, and sense of purpose.
