COURSE DESCRIPTION
During Summer Camp at Mission Art Center, students participate in guided lessons that help them learn new techniques, improve focus, and complete creative projects they can feel proud of. Campers are introduced to various art materials and subjects, including drawing, shading, painting, dry-clay sculpting, and creative design. Each class is designed to challenge and develop a child’s creativity, imagination, thinking skills, and social confidence.

The program is led by experienced teacher Shabnam Zafarmand, who is known for her patience, encouragement, and ability to help students grow at their own pace. With a class size of 15, children receive personal attention and thoughtful guidance throughout the 3-hour camp sessions. Whether a child is new to art or already enjoys creating, Mission Art Center provides a supportive space where students can improve their skills, make new friends, and discover the joy of fine art.
